Dr. Dennis Denenberg, Educator

I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The College of William and Mary. I began my career as a high school social studies teacher in Pennsylvania. While serving as an elementary school principal and assistant superintendent, I witnessed how many educators struggled with history education at all grade levels. After receiving my Doctor of Education degree from Penn State, I went on to become a Professor in the College of Education at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. At Millersville , I devoted much of my time motivating future teachers to make history come alive in Americaís classrooms. My goal has always been to encourage future teachers to have true heroes to inspire them to make a difference in society and to share the gift of a hero with their students.
